Invent your future at the International Franchise Expo

The 25th annual International Franchise Expo (IFE) opens June 16 at the Javits Center in New York City and continues through June 18. America’s largest franchise expo draws people from more than 120 countries and features 400-plus exhibitors offering franchise opportunities in 75 major industries.

The IFE is the place to “invent your future as a franchisee.” It’s an opportunity to meet franchisors, franchisees, and lenders, as well as attend educational programs that address all aspects of franchising.

More than 70 seminars

This year’s expo includes more than 70 seminars that explain how to buy a franchise, how to franchise a business, how to succeed as a franchisee, etc. Most of the seminars are free, but some require a fee.

You can get free admission to the IFE simply by using promo code: HAYES when you register. Registering in advance saves you the daily entrance fee and, more importantly, saves you from waiting in long lines at the Javits Center. You can get free tickets for yourself, family and friends.

Seats available for Fridays’ A to Z seminar

For the 25th year, Dr. John P. Hayes will teach the A to Zs of Buying a Franchise, the expo’s most popular seminar. While the Saturday session has sold out, seats are still available for the Friday session, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

“People are always surprised by two things at the IFE,” explains Hayes, best-selling author of numerous books about franchising on Amazon.com. “First, the number of franchise opportunities that are on display, and second, the low investment for many franchises.

A franchise for less than $10,000

“People mistakenly think they need to be rich to become a franchisee. But at the IFE there are many franchises that cost less than $15,000 to start. Some are lower than $10,000.

“Most people, however, will spend between $100,000 and $200,000 to buy a franchise, but it’s not all their own money. They borrow from banks and leasing companies, which also exhibit at the IFE in hopes of meeting prospective clients.”

Visit IFA booth

The world’s premier association for franchisors and franchisees, the International Franchise Association (IFA), sponsors the IFE. Attendees can visit the IFA booth for free literature and consultations with association representatives.

Visitors will also find numerous franchise attorneys, lenders, accountants and other business advisors available for free consultations on the show floor.

Reserve free copy of Due Diligence

When you visit booth #978, you can reserve a free copy of How To Buy a Franchise: Due Diligence, the forthcoming title by Hayes. He’ll be at the HowToBuyAFranchise.com booth interviewing franchisors, franchisees, and prospective investors for his podcasts.
