Meet the faces behind BizCom! We’re profiling all of our team members at the agency.
Meet Morgan Butler! Morgan, originally from Mount Vernon, TX, is a graduate of Colorado State University. She started working at BizCom Associates almost 3 years ago as an Account Coordinator and is now the Director of Digital Services for Digital BizCom.
Why did you choose PR? It’s funny because coming from a small town with only one newspaper, I grew up and never knew that PR existed! However, I did realize early on that writing was the only subject in school that I was really good at, so I decided my only option was to be a traditional news anchor or journalist working for a paper. Fast forward to my first news writing class in college and I was so bored! Soon after I learned about PR and have never looked back.
Best part of working at BizCom? Do I have to pick just one? The leadership, working from home on Fridays, athleisure days, office snacks, dart tournaments, team afternoon walks and the awesome clients we get to work with.
I’m happiest when… I’m at Chuy’s snacking on creamy jalapeño and sipping a frozen strawberry margarita.
Favorite social media platform? Instagram! I love following style bloggers on there and visually seeing what all my friends are up to.
If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be? Velour Track Suits!
If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be? It’s always been my life dream to be on Survivor. I’ve grown up watching every season. I’ve tweeted Jeff Probst multiple times to cast me and gone to an open casting call. I haven’t got a response yet, but I’ll keep you posted.
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do? This is funny because my husband and I actually play this game all the time! I think I would pass out, but my first purchase would be a lake house, boat and a couple jet skis.
Go-to restaurant: Chuy’s
If you could be any fictional character, who would it be? I’m really tempted to say Rachel Green from Friends, but I think I just want to be Jennifer Anniston in real life…
Dream vacation: Charter a mega yacht (Below Deck style) and sail the Mediterranean with my husband and our friends while enjoying endless margaritas, espresso martinis and Mexican food!
