Our Client Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest franchising companies of home service brands, kicked off 2018 by celebrating the completion of a new 18,000 square foot building on its Waco headquarters. BizCom attended last week’s ribbon cutting ceremony, which was also attended by members of the Waco City Council and Waco Chamber of Commerce.

The $3.2 million project, managed by Built Wright Construction, began in early 2017 and brings the Waco headquarters to nearly 100,000 square feet of building space covering more than 12 acres of land.
The new building officially brings the entire Dwyer Group corporate team in Waco to one location, including the company’s executive offices, accounting and marketing departments and the ProTradeNet division.
Dwyer Group CEO and President Mike Bidwell spoke with Fox 44 Waco about the new building and what it means for Waco, and in his remarks to a crowd of more than 100 attendees, stated, “Being part of downtown Waco, we have witnessed the growth and investment in our great city for 37 years. This building and our evolving Dwyer Group campus is part of that thriving commitment not only to our business but also to our community.”

It was a banner year in 2017 for Dwyer Group, which acquired two new brands, Bright & Beautiful and Countrywide Grounds Maintenance, bringing its roster to 17 franchise service brands. Also in 2017, Dwyer Group launched its comprehensive home services platform, Neighborly. The platform brings together Dwyer Group’s community of experienced service professionals and gives homeowners premium access to a network of experts at GetNeighborly.com – including landscaping, plumbing, painting, housecleaning and more.
Dwyer Group Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer Lisa Zoellner addressed the crowd and stated, “the same year we broke ground on this building, we also launched our online platform Neighborly and both were very deliberate investments to bring people together. As we connected Dwyer Group’s community of experienced service professionals, we also brought our team of professionals together at our Waco headquarters with that same connectedness in mind.”
