BizCom Clients Dominate 2019 Franchise 500

We know firsthand that the brands we represent are great. However, it’s always exciting to be reminded of this each time our clients are recognized via top industry rankings from some of the most reputable media.

One recurring opportunity we look forward to every year is the release of Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500. The Franchise 500 is a comprehensive ranking of the strongest brands in franchising from across all industries. Released annually by Entrepreneur, this year’s 40th list is one of the most competitive to-date with more than 1,000 franchise concepts taken into consideration during the ranking process.

BizCom Client Takeover on the 2019 Franchise 500

We are pleased to announce that a number of our clients representing a variety of industries are listed. In fact, a total of 13 brands across four clients made this year’s list, setting a new BizCom record for clients on the Franchise 500 in a single year.

Edible Arrangements appeared at #108. Even in a category as competitive as Restaurants, Edible Arrangements continues to be recognized for its unique offerings to consumers as well as the brand’s franchising opportunities around the globe.

From the fitness business category, 9Round jumped 85 spots from its ranking on this list last year to reach #112, the fifth highest ranking of any fitness franchise that made this year’s list. Fueling their knockout 2019 ranking, 9Round has expanded internationally at an accelerated rate, surpassing 770 locations last year and reaching a total of 16 countries where the brand is open and operating worldwide.

From the home restoration services sector, this is the seventh consecutive year Restoration 1 has been named to the Franchise 500 list, with a ranking at #165. The brand celebrated 73 grand openings in 2018 as well as expansion into five new states, now with a total of 249 locations.

And lastly, ranging across the various categories of the home services industry are 10 out of 21 Neighborly brands featured on this year’s list. Mosquito Joe, Neighborly’s latest acquisition from the pest control sector, made the top 50, ranked at the #47 spot. Other Neighborly brands that made this year’s list included Molly Maid (#185), Rainbow International (#219), Mr. Rooter (#291), Mr. Electric (#420), Mr. Appliance (#430), Glass Doctor (#453), Real Property Management (#491), Mr. Handyman (#494), and Five Star Painting (#495).

A Bright Future for Franchising

Franchises are experiencing growth at rapid rates as a result of a steadily rising U.S. economy, led by aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to live their own “American dreams” as the owners of their own businesses. The continued success of franchise brands, like our clients who were named to this year’s Franchise 500, gives us confidence that there is much to look forward to for franchising in the years to come, which we couldn’t be more excited about.
