A Tasty Time for Grand Openings

Recently, GiGi’s Cupcakes opened up a new store in Mason, OH, making it the fourth GiGi’s Cupcakes location to open in Ohio. The store celebrated with raffles, free cupcakes, face painters and an appearance by GiGi’s Cupcakes Founder, Gigi Butler.

Ahead of the grand opening festivities, GiGi made an appearance on Cincinnati’s FOX 19 NOW’s Saturday morning news broadcast. Gigi covered it all- from sharing her background and how she started GiGi’s Cupcakes, to gift ideas for Mother’s Day and graduation celebrations, and details about the Grand Opening festivities at the new Mason location. The sweet segment concluded with Gigi demonstrating her “signature swirl,” and the news anchor doing her best to replicate it.

The grand opening celebration was a success, with a packed store throughout the event, and much of the foot traffic brought in from GiGi’s morning show appearance. Another grand opening in the books for Founder Gigi Butler and the growing franchise network. That’s what we call delicious PR!

Then there are those times when we get to the real meat of a story.

Constantly looking for ways to reinvent an American classic, the hamburger, Burger 21 has recently gone through a reinvention of their own as they are introducing a rebranded look and feel to their better burger business, including an updated restaurant design.

Burger 21’s Carrollwood location recently celebrated this rebranded look by throwing a VIP re-grand opening reveal party for 100 of their local BFFs (Burger Fry Fanatics). Complete with free swag bags, food and drink and exclusive social media bragging rights, the event was a hit with their local guests and a great way to introduce their new look to the community, including media.

The media love a good burger! And don’t we all?! A tasty way to kick off National Hamburger Month, some key journalists and influencers joined the party and better burger madness to share their experience. Click HERE to see how the Tampa Bay Times covered it.
